Journal of Behavioral Science (JBS)
Aims and Scope
Journal of Behavioral Science (JBS) publishes advances in clinical and non-clinical Psychology and provides a venue for cutting-edge research across a wide range of conceptual views, approaches, and topics about psychology. The Journal encompasses many core domains that have defined clinical psychology, but also boundary-crossing advances that integrate and make contact with diverse disciplines and that may not easily be found in traditional clinical psychology journals. Among the key topics are research on the underlying mechanisms and etiologies of psychological health and dysfunction; basic and applied work on the diagnosis, assessment, treatment, and prevention of mental illness; service delivery; and promotion of well-being.
Subject areas suitable for publication include, but are not limited to the following fields:
Marriage & Family Therapy
Reports of original clinical and non-clinical research can be submitted to the section of original article. However the editor is free to change it to a different section (e.g. short communication) if it does not meet certain criteria of originality and importance.
Reviews in any branched of all above objects are considered for publication. They should be written by an expert in the feild and should have a considerable number of relevant references.
Clinical cases which rarely have been reported and are interesting for the physician in the specialty are considered for publication
Letters to Editor
We encourage our reader to submit letter critiquing published paper in JBS. However sometime submitted papers to other sections may be accepted to be published as a letter. It is the responsibility of the author to change the format of the paper to a letter and decrease the word count to 250 - 300 with a maximum of one figure or one table and a maximum of four references.
It is a publication model, that enables the dissemination of research articles to the global community without restriction usually through the internet. Thus, all the articles published under Open Access can be accessed by anyone with internet connection. Journal of Behavioral Science strongly supports the Open Access initiative. Abstracts and full texts (HTML, PDF and XML format) of all articles published by Journal of Behavioral Science are freely accessible to everyone immediately after publication.
Community standards, rather than copyright law, will continue to provide the mechanism for enforcement of proper attribution and responsible use of the published work, as they do now.
